Header and footer

Hi

How to remove the header and footer from the source message. In target, there is no need of both. How do we do that ?

The header and footer in source message and now not required in target.......do not map it in mapping....have your target message without these.....assuming that you are doing a mapping program.

Can we disable the fileds in source ? The fields that we don't need in target. I mean I see a Mark diable field when I right click on the field. Do I have to opt that to make sure it won't be there in target.

hi ajith,

No need to disable the field. Just don't map those field to any target field.

There is no option in source structure to disable the field.

I guess you are talking about target structure. If yes, than you can disable them, those won't appear in target.

If u dont want the source in target means... just dont map that element or node....

It will automatically disable the source field....

Disable field is not required....just avoid mapping the header and footer from source.
