SBO client application issue

Hi All,

This intermittent error "internal error (min 1) occured [131 - 183] always happened almost in all user's PCs. It did not give impact to the document creation and other transaction but it is really disturbed users. The SBO version is 2007A SP01.

Pls advice. TIA

Hello Andres,

Can you make sure that the ODBC DS is setup to SAP Business One server (using the servername) and connectivity is ok? Please check the SQL Server log file to verify if there was any error reported by the SQL Server at this time.

When access to the server is not possible via SAP Business One (due to internal error) is it possible to access the server via management studio? Please check if note 546612 is applicable.

I would ask you to log a message with SAP Business One Product Support if none of the previous suggestions resolves your issue.

Hi Andres,

All Internal Errors are actually External resources that are not available. In your case, it might be network, or might be printer.

Hi Andres,

This internal error issue may be caused by one of several factors. Should the issue arise again, please create a support message to SAP documenting as much detail as possible, screenshots etc.

Hi Paul,

This error is intermittent and will not appears if the server name change to IP number. If I enter server name e.g. sboserver in the server name, the error is happened.

Could it be caused by virus attacked in the connectivity ? I know the sbo can works either in domain or workgroup. If something happend to the domain server, e.g. virus attack, I am afraid that the error could be one of the virus attacking impact although sbo server is different with domain server.

The question here is there is no sap notes explaining this error but the error appears in the SAP B1 GUI application.

This sounds strange for me because the server is different but the error message appears in B1.

Hope SAP considers it

Such kind of error gives only in case of internal connectivity with server....
