Hi,
I understood that you used 32 bit.
Did you compare the php.ini and odbc.ini with the PC which worked normally and the PC which did not work?
> Make sure that the proper files are being referenced in the php.ini and odbc.ini files.
You should compare the PC which does not work and the PC working normally.
Thanks,
Atsushi

Hi,
The cause to fail in the connection to a database has the following possibilities.
The php.ini file used references a different php sqlanywhere dll from the one that is being used. Or the odbc.ini file used references a different odbc connection from the one that made a successful connection.
You should confirm the following.
Make sure that the proper files are being referenced in the php.ini and odbc.ini files. And make sure that you are using the correct php driver (64 bit/32 bit).
Thanks,
Atsushi

Salam Alaikum Dear Mr. Atsushi
I installed sql anywhere 17 developer edition on 5 PCs , on first three system i couldn't connect but when i tried on my laptop and another PC it worked easily (i was so happy after 5 days trying i got simple connection 🙂 ).
all of my systems are 32bit, i have the correct driver php extension and also im running sql anywhere 32 bit but unfortunately it gives the same error and not recognize the database, i checked my systems but i really confused what's going on these systems? (all are same with same hardware/ software 32 bit)
* another thing MR. atsushi when i make new table in database via php there is no option like "refresh" to refresh table list and i should disconnect and connect again the table to show my new made table, in SQL server we have option by just simple click on table and refreshes all table.
thanks a million for your replies.
have a great day and i wish you a beautiful Year 2019 for you and your family
