Relationship person to person (?) in OMPA

Dear Gurus,

I want to ask a problem in my implementation project. I'm sorry if I made a mistake since I'm new here. I have this problem, I have a sales supervisor position and a salesman position. Salesman position is under sales supervisor. Let's say, there're 2 sales supervisor, Y and Z. And there're 6 salesman, A,B,C,D,E,F. Sales supervisor Y will be responsible only for A,B,and C, and sales supervisor Z will be responsible only for D,E,and F. Since the team will be dynamic and changed a lot, I don't think making 2 positions for sales supervisor is an ideal solution. How do I get this result without making 2 position for sales supervisor?

Please let me know if anyone has suggestion for this. Thank you.

Hello Shirley,

There are several options to do it. The better way is to split two Org Units (Sales Team A1 / Sales Team A2) as the sub-teams under the team (Sales Team A). Sales Team A1 contains Sales supervisor Y (Chief Positions of Sales Team A1) will be responsible only for A,B,and C Positions; Sales Team A2 contains supervisor Z (Chief Positions of Sales Team A2) will be responsible only for D,E,and F Positions.

Things are still under standard functions and relationships. Hope it helps.

Thank you for the answer. Yes, I agree, but I have some concern about user authorization for that option since the person who can make new position (HR) and the person who change position (Sales Team) will be different. And the team will be changed rapidly and often so I think it will be burden to the person who make new position since they have to change it often based on demand from the team. It will be more easier for the sales team to coordinate it themselves without involving user from HR. That's why I want to know if there're another way to do it.
