Hi ,
If Z fields are added on opportunities header , what is the "structure/table" SAP will use CRMD_CUSTOMER_H versus CRMD_OPPORT_H ? Will Easy Enhancement Workbench force you into one "structure/table" or another ?

Hi,
I propose you to use AET instead of EEW. AET is successor tool of EEW and it is also able to enhance Opportunity.
In AET you can also choose in which part of Opportunity you want to define your new field. You can enhance:
CUSTOMER_H, OPPORT_H, and ORDERADM_H, and also many other parts.
It depends on your business requirement.
CUSTOMER_H enhances the BTCustomerH.
OPPORT_H enhances the BTOpportH.
ORDERADM_H enhances the BTAdminH.

Steve

Hi,
EEWB will not force you to do anything. In EEWB, you can choose to extend the opportunity header or the opportunity customer extension.

Hi,
That entirely depends on your business scenario. One thing that you may want to consider is that if the field is "optional" for data entry and is going to be only used in the CRM system, you may want to use the customer extension. This is because, the Opportunity header will be created for each order and any additional columns that you insert will be an overhead unless it is a mandatory data field. The customer extension entry will be created only if there is some advantage... You may also want to look at the R/3 to CRM mappings if such scenarios exist.

Arun Prakash
