CAL - instance expiry

We have activated a trial for hana 1610. Is there any expiry on this instance or is this completely up to us when it expires/will be terminated ?

    Hello,

    the instance needs to be activated / suspended / terminated by you. This behaviour (e.g. also an automatic schedule) can be set in the "Edit" screen of each appliance (scroll down to "Schedule"). Typical default value at first activation is 8h, afterwards it will be suspended.

    Within the first 30 days, you are covered under the trial agreement that you checkmarked when activating an instance for the first time. Afterwards, please obtain a CAL subscription package.
