Send A file in EXCEL format

Hi Folks,

I have a requirement to send a document to the receiving system in excel format. This is a proxy to file scenario.

Kindly provide your inputs.

Regards,

Santosh

You need to have a Adapter Module which converts XML --> EXCEL....there is even a blog (i suppose) showing the procedure....may be you can just make a search.

    HI ,

U can achieve this in two ways..

    1. Write an adapter module(EJB) code using java.. for convering the XML to EXCEL

ANd deploy it in Application server, J2EE engine.. call from the CC of receiver.

2.Using a Conversion Agent also u can do it..

    If nt clear do post..

      Hi,

Let me put it in this way....

U want to create a Excel file from the contents u r getting from the client proxy rt?????

So what u need to do is... write an an java code which will take the output of mapping as input and output will be an excel file...

NOw deploy this code in server as EJB ...and in Communication channel receiver-->module tab specify the name of ur EJB deployed..

The target payload will be now converted as excel file and posted in target...(U can put in FTP or NFS or send through Mail..)
