Hi All,
I have a material maintained in 3 plants say A, B, C. The stock is also maintained in all 3 plants. The production happens only in plant C. MRP is run in plant C.
But while MRP run, I want that system should consider the stock in all plants - A, B, C.
Regards,
Manish
Hi Manish ,
In SAP R/3 you can run MRP in
1.single item single level
2 Single item multi level
3 Plant level
4 In background
so its not consider the stock from other Plant ,for crossplant planning APO is the option
also with Special procrument key in MRP3 view in material master . Production, withdrawl and stock transfer can be possible from alternate plant but not stock consideration while MRP run

Hi
It can be achieved only by APO.
In R/3, we can run MRP at Plant Level (Maximum). When you run MRP at Plant C, System will consider the stock at C Only.
From Plant C to Plant A requirements should flow (It can be done by using special Procurement Key)
From Plant A to Plant B Requirements can flow by using special procurement Key
Here we should understand that from Plant C requrements can flow to Plant A only directly.
Generally we will requirements that system should consider the stock in all plants as well as requirements should go to 1 or more plants automatically.
We can do this by using Quota arrangement. But it doest not solve the issue.
regards,
Nag
Dear Manish,
in my understanding it is not possible in SAP R/3
