Availability Check at Contract

Can Availability check be activated at the contract level ? How can this be done?

SAP is very flexible ERP .Anything is possible,but since contract is the pre sales document which has to be followed by sales order,SAP has kept availability check off at contarct.

Document flow would be Contract>>Sales Order>>deliver>>Billing

or Contract>>Scheduling Agreement>>Delivery>>Billing

Hi,

In standard, for contracts there will not be any schedule line category assigned to it....

FOr availability Check to happen at Sales document level (Contract) assign the Item Category of contract to Schedule Line Category in VOV5...The schedule Line category need to have the availability Check and Transfer of requirement settings maintained...

Option 2: Go to OVZI and assign the Contract Item Category to the Requirements Type and then the Requirement Type has to be assigned to the Requirement Class in OVZH...Then the requirement Class will have availability Check and Transfer of requirement settings maintained in the OVZG tcode..
