Can I re-import a released TR (which is still in Dev) back to overwrite my existing TR in Dev ?

Hi Experts,

I have a query where in , I have released 3 TRs (2 Work bench and 1 Customizing) ,they are still in Dev.

We made changes to the same objects and locked them in a new TR .Now I want to revert back the initial released TRs .Code I am able to revert as it follows version management but how do I re-import Configuration TR to update my config tables back to the old state. Is it possible to do so ?.

Why not create a new transport?

A better way would be to use SM30 or SCMP to do a remote system compare and adjust your DEV customizing entries to match what you have in QAS, and then create a new transport just as Tammy suggests. This will effectively "undo" the change and ensure that your DEV and QAS systems are in sync, without getting into confusion about which transport should be imported when, etc, later on.

Hi Balwant Singh

If the understanding is correct - the Object XXXX has been modified twice in Development system.

Object XXXX has been modified initially and changes recorded in TR1 - Released

same Object XXXX has been modified second time and changes recorded in TR2 -

Solution:-

Release both TR1 and TR2 from development system and now import the TR1 again development system (Same system) to get the changes .

Undo the config changes in development in a new transport and move the two transports together down the landscape.
