Did you install the correct 64bit SQL Server driver on your unix machine ?
If you have troubles configuring db connectivity - always start with Data Connection guide, which you can locate on help.sap.com

This isn't an SDK issue so the question should probably be posted in the Semantic Layer or Webi community tags.
Does the webi document refresh in BI Launchpad or is that where you are seeing the error.
Ensure that your ODBC Datasource is a 64bit datasource and not 32bit.
