Activate OIM to GL account having line items

Hi all,

Happy new year to all..

I have a requirement to activate OIM for GL account which balance is zero but the it contains previously posted line items.But when i am using FAGL_ACTIVATE_OP it showing the error.

Specify a account with which to write off balance.(But the balance of the account is already Zero)

Message No: FAGL_SWITCH_OP055.

Then system terminates the OIM.

Can anybody please advise on this issue.

Thank you for your suggestion.

I have tried the same GL account code for other company code which is having some balance but the FAGL_ACTIVATE_OP ran successfully without any error. I have done it in Quality System,Is it right to run for the program for gl which is having balance or we have to make sure that balance should be ZERO before run this program.

Please suggest me on this before doing it in production system.
