  1. A social model was already created and trained successfully, using the function CREATE_SOCIAL_MODEL_AND_TRAIN".
  2. The model used the sample data from "APL_SAMPLES"."CUST_TRANSACTIONS".
  3. A Bipartite graph was generated with the following nodes:
    • UserID
    • ItemPurchased
  4. Another graph was derived from the above Bipartite graph and this was for the following node:
    • ItemPurchased
  5. A community was defined on the derived graph using Post processing.

I want to apply the model on the same data set and score it. Hence I was trying to get the table type for the model. That was when I got stuck with this error.

APL function, "GET_TABLE_TYPE_FOR_SOCIAL_APPLY" errors at KxCPPInterf::IKxenStore::restoreModelD()'

  • Error occurs when the model contains post-processings (Projections, communities). In this case there are multiple graphs, namely, Bipartite Graph, Graphs derived due to Projection of First and Second Populations.
  • Function GET_TABLE_TYPE_FOR_SOCIAL_APPLY works fine, when the model has no projection. (i.e) only one Bipartite Graph (No Projections and hence no derived graphs)

As suggested by SAP, cleared data in the following tables and tested the function, "GET_TABLE_TYPE_FOR_SOCIAL_APPLY".

  • Links
  • Nodes
  • Communities
  • Attributes

It was working fine then, and I was able to get the table type in SCHEMA_OUT. However,

  • APPLY_SOCIAL_MODEL function executes successfully, without any data in the below-mentioned tables. But all the output columns in the Output table APPLY_OUT is having null values.
  • If we run the same with data in these tables, it gives same error as "GET_TABLE_TYPE_FOR_SOCIAL_APPLY".

Would like to understand the dependency with respect to both the functions.

Hello Karthik, I'll follow up. Sorry for the delay. Thanks Antoine
