both schedule line and PR generated

Hi,

When we are running MRP both schedule line and PR are getting generated. Please advice what might be the reason for this.

Check the source list (ME01). Probably your requirements (due date) are falling before the source list start date.

You can have either or both PR and scheduling line generated. If you just want PR generated and no scheduling lines, besides Scheduling lines in MD01, use option 1 - No schedule lines, and then run MRP, only PR will be generated no schedule lines

Hi,

We have checked and found that Quantity is there and till last month we used to get only schdule lines and this error is only from this month we are getting.

Hi

Check the validity period of your schedule agreement.If requirement quantity falls outside the validity of the schedule agreement, PR will be created.
