PO Release strategy with Service Master

Dear Experts,

We experienced a typical problem:

We have configured the release stategy for PO and it is working for all the POs except for one situation....

With item category D, if we are specifying the service lline items using service master and if there is no service conditions are maintained, then enther the prices manually in the PO service line items release strategy is not getting triggered.

To be more clear, pl refer to below combinations.

1. No Service master - Enter Servic line item price manually --> then release strategy triggered.

2. Service master used - no service conditions - Enter Service line item price manually --> then release strategy not triggered.

3. Service master used - service conditions - Service line item price automatically defaulted --> then release strategy triggered.

4. Service master used - service conditions - Service line item price automatically defaulted, but changed --> then release strategy triggered.

Please suggest whether there could be any solution for this?

Or whether it happens like this in any other clients?

I configured new release strategy... this problem got solved... But really could not understand why this problem was coming earlier, this configuration was done by somebody else....

mention the classification mentioned . Also if there any exit mentioned in the process ?

The class type is 032.

The characteristics used are,

- Purchasing Organization,

- Plant,

- PO Value,

- Purchasing Group.

- Document Type.

No user exits are used.

You need to check your service master, there should be some check mantained which is blocking your release strategy to trigger when used without conditions, look in the service master

I checked Service Master Again, not getting any clue. Whether it happens like this in any other client? I request somebody to check and suggest.
