Interchangeability of Parts not working in SD Orders

Dear SAP Gurus,

We are using PIC01 to maintain the Parts Supersession in SAP as we are using IS-Automotive for Part Sales. This is working fine in DBM Orders but when we use the same Part in SD Sales Orders the Supersession chain is not working and we do not want to use VB11 to maintain two Supersession chains for the same Part Number.

Please advise how we can achieve this requirement in SD.

Also please let me know how can i use Substitution functionality in SD Sales Orders.

Dear Joachim,

Thanks for your reply. I have read the documentation. We have maintain the supersession items in PIC01 and it is working fine in DBM order. However the same is not getting called in SD orders. It is creating a Sub item line in case of Availability check. Our requirement is to have a popup for Supersession Parts where user can choose the Parts in case of Supersession Chain and proceed with Order rather than creating a subitem in the Sales Order.
