Is it possible to add a user (a sales agent) to SAP B1 9.3 with the restrictions to see orders and financial data of his/her clients only (the clients he/she is registered as sales agent for them)? How to do that? Thank you.

Hi,

Have you tried with Data Ownership authorization under Administration-->System Initialization-->Authorizations-->Data Ownership-->Data Ownership Authorizations?

I have checked those settings out, they don't include an option to restrict data access based on sales agent.

Hi,

You need to map the sales agent as Owner in the Business Partner Master Data.

By enabling the the document ownership for both Business Partner and Document will restrict the users(sales agents) to see only their data.

The option has to be enabled in the General Settings->BP Tab.

Updated to clarify my question

I want to a allow a Sales Employee (as defined in OSLP table) to log into SAP B1 and see data related to his customers only (to see previous orders he himself submitted on behalf on his customers and see their financial data), not to see orders / sales documents for other customers he is not registered as sales employee for them (all in same company), I hope this clarifies the needs.

I have clarified my question in line with SAP B1 terminology (comment above).
