We are exploring new options to change the look and feel of the top navigation level navigation of the ajax framework page.
One of the options we are exploring is to use the ajax navigation api to display three levels of navigation (maybe use a horizontal dropdown menu).
Is it possible to copy the existing masthead and make changes? Is it possible to hide the tab based navigation and just show a horizontal dropdown menu as mentioned above?
How do we go about making these changes?
We have the trial version of the latest Netweaver CE (7.2) installed on Windows server.

Thank you. Can you tell me where exactly this par file is and what it's called. (I noticed that you deploy EAR files with the new version, so I am a little confused about this)

Hi Vijay,
You can change the masthead by downloading the masthead par file and changing it. Do not forget to rename it to your own name as you don't want to overwrite the default masthead.
After this you can incorporate your new masthead in a framework page.
Kind regards,
Ted
