Skip Lots

Dear All,

I have created a DMR for skip lots. 1st stage number of inspections 1 if ok stage 20 skip if rejected stage 10

Stage 20 Skip stage number of inspections 3 if rejected stage 10.

In material master Skip allowed and Auto UD are activated for inspection type 01.

I'm facing the problem when i do GR (103&105) the stock goes to unrestricted use directly as well as Inspection lot is being created also the lots are continuously going into skip status instead of normal (as per defination in DMR).

Kindly suggest.

Is the "post to insp. stock" indicator on in material master?

Is DMR update at lot create or time of UD?

Nehal I tried as you suggested but still my problem is not resolved, skip level is not changing automatically inspite if i take a ud as rejected. also the stock of the inspection lot is continuously getting posted to unrestricted use not to Q.I.

while posting MIGO doc I can see the stock type Quality Inspection but after posting the document the stock type is unrestriceted use

Also I surprise that inspite of QM inspection type activation I can change the stock type which is not desirable.

I surprised if suggested rule not working in your case. Could you tell us how system updating quality level @ QDL3?

FYI - For SKIP lot system always send stock to UNR.

I gone through SAP help and also from the way you have suggested.

As per SAP help if the characteristics are required for QI then after posting GR stock post to the QI. In my case my characteristics were optional that is why it is getting posted to unrestricted use.

I've assigned points for your help.

As per your req. once system go to SKIP stage then it should SKIP 3 lot and 4th one should be normal inspection. Try following and let me know if wok or not.

Create DMR at UD.

Stage-10, InspSer-4, SKIP checkbox- blank, Ist checkbox - select, Shorttext-Inspect, No of insp-1, Next-20, Rej-1, Next-10

Stage-20, InspSer-blank, SKIP-select, Ist- blank, Shorttext - SKIP, No of insp-3, Next-20, Reject-1, Next-10.

If it is not working please check QDL3 and let me know how system updating stage.

Let me correct if I understood wrong.

for changing the stage reject all the char in the lot which is created in stage 20.Also take UD as Rejected .Then Quality level will change.Check n revert back
