Venkat,

Licensing is something you need to talk to SAP about.

One of the big advantages for you client could be that EP can be used as a gateway for all your clients SAP systems. Using role based security, with clients only seeing what the content in the assigned roles.

For example:

- CRM BP roles could be set up and assigned to specific users

- all SAP GUI systems could be set up in the portal with single sign on (helpful if client has multiple SAP systems, users only have to remember one password)

- Many other business packages...

It depends on your clients architecture and anticipated needs.

Regards,

Tom

Hi Venkat ,

For configuring CRM with EP , you would need two seperate machines . Install EP on one machine , on the second one install the business package for CRM (decide on the version) . Once these two systems are setup , then you will have to configure SSO between them . After SSO , you will have to download CRM roles and upload them in portal , assign them to yourself and see if it works .
