Hello Himanshu,

Masks can not be used in order to filter a lookup table's records.

Masks are meant for partitioning main table records only (the partitioning of main table records can be based however on lookup tables values).

Hi Himanshu,

As mentioned by Hedda, you can not restrict Lookup Table Records by using Masks, But you can restrict Main table Records using Masks. I mean, You can define a mask in the Masks table and then You can specify any filter criteria in data Manager and then can select the record/s and add them to Mask by Right clicking on any selected record and selecting Add to Mask-->Mask Name from list

Now if you want to see records in your masks, then from the Search Parameters pane on the left hand side of data manager select your mask and it will display all the records in the Mask. Also, you can add/remove records from any existing Mask. Furthermore, you can define this mask as a constraint on any role in Console under Table and Fields tab. This will make only those records available to the role which are assigned to Mask.

Please go through [Data Manager Reference Guide |http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwmdm71/helpdata/en/4b/72b8aaa42301bae10000000a42189b/MDMDataManager71.pdf] on page no 44 and page no 229 for more details about Masks.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Shiv

Hi,

Masks on lookup table is not possible. In the lookup table data, the options add to mask, remove from mask are disabled.so it is not

possible to create masks in lookup table data.

Thanks,
