Not able to edit the trip exps

I have an issue in travel management. Can u pls help me out in this issue?

The issue is, employee has posted trip exps in TR05settled in PREC (mass settle)Posting run in PRFI. Till here, the status was showing as u201Ctrip approved & transferred to FIu201D in PR05. But, afterwards, employee wants to make some changes on his/her trip. So then he went to PRRW and rejected the trip. Now, the status has been changed to u201Ctrip approved & settledu201D in PR05. When user attempts to edit the trip line he gets a message u201Cunauthorized to make any changesu201D. I know this seems to be a security issue but is there a way in SAP to edit the trip exps made by him.

You are getting this error like message because the said trip is in the next posting run. For clarification, never cancel a 'Transferred to FI' status trip unless it is very essential. Always make corrections in the new trip or the next trip. Trip status will be Settled, To Be Settled and Transferred to FI. Editing is recommended only for Settled and To Be Settled statuses as it has not hit the Financials. But if you cancel the Transferred to FI, any matching for the open trans in General Ledger will be reversed affecting the reconciled balance and which is not always recommended.

Please make sure you delete the document in PRRW because it locks in PR05 the trip, Try it and let us know if that's te solution

I agree with suggestion to edit the trip once it is moved to FI and resubmit the correction in trip. But you can also try to edit the trip from PR05.

Hi

First of all there is no need to reject trip run to edit the trip. Try to post the trip now without making any chnages like new trip then try for ediitng the trip with the status transfered to FI.
