Hi Guru's
I have a stock transport order (NB) created with delivery type NLCC and item category NLC. The goods movement is from Plant A to Plant B within the same company code...
Picking is done and while doing PGI, i get an error messge "Purchase order xxx has no line items to start the transfer"
Any ideas why this error message is coming?
I thought... NB STO should be used for the Intercompany process (plants within 2 different company codes)... and UB STO should be used for the Intra company (Plants within the same company code)....
Is this right or any other suggestions?
Thanks
Anand Viswanathan
Hi
I have a stock transport order (NB) created with
delivery type NLCC and item category NLC.
The goods movement is from Plant A to Plant B
within the same company code...
Wrong PO type used for intracompany ( STO between 2 plants of same company code )
Hence the error
You yourself has written
I thought... NB STO should be used for the
Intercompany process (plants within 2 different company codes)...
and UB STO should be used for the
Intra company (Plants within the same company code)....
This is the correct procedure
For intra company ( STO between 2 plants of same company code )
PO type is UB del type is NL and item cate will be NLN and movement type is 641
For inter company ( STO between 2 plants ofdifferent company codes )
PO type is NB del type is NLCC and item cate will be NLC and movement type is 643

Hi,
You are correct, if you are using STO within the same company code then you have to use the UB purchase order type and NL as the delivery document type.
Please try with this document types and revert back.
