Posting to QM stock while goods receipt

Hi

What are all the options we have to post the goods to Quality stock category at the time of goods receipt?

I know off

A. In material master, purchasing view - post to inspection stock is active

B. If QM control key is active

What are the other possibilities?

Hi

The other possibilities are to select post to inspection in PO delivery tab,

or selecting manually in GR,

Or set default (in MIGO top menu >settings>default values) for A01-Good receipt for PO select Post to quality inspection.

Hi,

In Material master we need to maintain "Post to inspection" and respective inspection types say for example 01 inspection type for Purchase order.

Maintain Quality inspection plan using QP01 for the respective material.

When a PO is created for the material having QM activated , in delivery tab Stock type will be automatically set as "Quality inspection". If you want to post to Quality stock without quality management activated for a material , then while doing MIGO select the stock type as "Quality inspection" in the where tab.

If the quality management for the material is active in master data. In that case if quality plan and quality characteristics needs to be mainttained using QP01 and QS21 respectively. In this case if the material is received against the movement type 101, the system will generate the inspection lot but the stock type will be Quality Inspection. To transfer the material from Qualtiy inspection to unrestricted stock is to use the QA11 and post the stock.
