Worehouse management view disappear

Hi All,

We have recently had several items where it seems warehouse 035 needs to be

created in Material Master in plant GPAH.

All other tabs seem to be okay, but the Warehouse Management 1, Warehouse

Management 2 and Quality Management tabs appear to have not been created.

we have maintain the warehouse management view but now we found that the ware house management view not appear for some of the material.

so please give me the valid input how to get the material list which is not having the warehouse view and already maintain but now that view disapper from the sap.

For example, materials not exist ware house management view.

We have previously purchased many of these items, which leads me to think

it was a recent change that caused this problem.

Some of them have existed since SAP started in GPA in 2004.

We cannot see any reason for it.

The first we are finding out is when somebody tries to book in a PO and are

told by SAP that the warehouse 035 does not exist.

Two questions if you don't mind:

1. Can you see what has happened to cause this problem?

(I notice that everything we have checked so far has also had an MM

change by GSI recently, could that have had anything to do with it?)

2. Can you help us to correct this by generating a list of all items in

GPAH that do not exist in warehouse 035 ?

first check with SE16 at table MLGN whether the data is really gone.

If that is the case, then the only standard way to erase that data is by running material master archiving.

in transaction SARA, enter MM_MATNR hit enter and then click the Administration button

There you can see whether you had any archiving jobs.

Anyhow, you cannot retrieve the data if they got archived. you would need to re-create then manually of with help of a tool such as mass creation thru MM17 or loading with LSMW or a BDC method.

Hello Shivakumar,

There might be possible that someone has changed customization setting to disappear the WM and QM view for material master. Check with your MM SAP experts on how to enable these views again.

If you want to do yourseld then it is in OMS2, and active both views for that material type.

Check table MLGN for which materials the warehouse data are maintained.

The warehouse view is display while view the material in mm03 T: Code. but he warehouse data has been erased.

is it possible to happen in sap.

how can i take the data which of the material not maintain the ware house data.

hi,

you can identify the materails with the warehouse view maintained thru Table MLGN.

IN This table, give u r warehouse no and execute, u can find the list of materials.

for the list of materials available for the plant go to MM60 trx and download.

to chk for which material the warehouse view not maintained, make a vlook up in excel by refering the common value as mtl.
