Block UserAdministration tab from getting accessed through external private network

Hi All,

We were able to block UserAdministration application from being accessed through external private network ie.using open internet based on below URLs but not able to block from being access through /irj/portal.

https://XXXX/irj/portal/UserAdmin https://XXXX/useradmin/index.jsp

https://XXXX/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tc~sec~ume~wd~umeadmin/UmeAdminApp https://XXXX/irj/portal?NavigationTarget=ROLES://portal_content/administrator/super_admin/super_admi...

Kindly let me know how to approach this requirement and also how to figure it out whether the portal is accessed through intranet or extranet or open network?

As you mentioned that "not able to block from being access through /irj/portal." Can you please tell me what you mean by this ?

Refer the KBA # 2418507 - Unauthorized access of Super Administration Roles, and follow the steps from the resolution section and check if it solves your issue or not.

Hi Santarshi,

Thanks for taking time to look into my issue.

The actual requirement is when Portal administrators or one who has user administration roles when access the portal from open internet the user administration should be blocked from access. eg.https://<hostname>:/irj/portal one can open the User Administration application.

We have taken care of opening UME app through direct URL or shortURLs but currently not able to block it from accessing through /irj/portal.
