Hi folks,
Is it possible in SAP for a finished good to have it's assembly scrap as a quantity and not as a percentage (%)? For example that when I make a product if i produce 50, 60 or 70 amount of units i will always have 20 units as my assembly scrap?
Thanks,
Brian.
Hi,
No i don't think this is possible in standard system and it has no logic to have Fixed Rej Qty for variable production quantities.
Why do you require this fixed QTY against Assembly Scrap insted of % and you calculate the % of scrap for 50 nos and then define that % in assembly scrap.
Ex for lots 50,60,70
Assembly scrap =(20/50)*100=40%
=(20/60)*100=33.33%
=(20/70)*100=28.57%
Now average these three and define against Assembly scrap field (I.e.,Assembly scrap =(40% +33.33%28.57%)/3)
