Assign Query to a Role

I have a query existing in my system.

But this is not assigned to any role.

How to assign this query to a role?

In Query designer, select Query--> Publish --> Publish to Role from the menu.

List of available roles will be listed. Select the required folder and click on ok.

The query will then be assigned to that particular role and be visible in the Roles folder.

When you click SAVE, you can select a role (based in BI system) where you want to save the query.

If you're talking about roles in the portal, then you need to publish the query in a template, and then publish that template as an iview, which can then be linked to the portal role.
