Hi Experts,

We are planning to configure CCMS in our landscape.We have ECC 6.0,CRM 7.0 & BI 7.0 in our landscape.Which SAP Product can I choose for CEN??Can I choose BI 7.0 as CEN??I have heard that normally Solman is taken as CEN

If you have an small environment I think you are better off installing CEN on your solution manager system.

I do not have access to Solman.If I configure in BI 7.0 will it be successful??What are the problems can I face if I use CEN to BI 7.0 & not Solman??

As far as I remember SAP recommends that you install CEN in a separate system but in small environments I think Solman is a viable option.

I wouldn't use it in Bi as the loads in your BI system would be larger...

Can I ask why you don't have access to solman?

Juan Solman is managed by a different contractor so unable to work in Solman as of now..You are right that BI is having huge load but at present we are not using it for report generation.I have CCMS Configuration Guide but no where it is mention which SAP Component would be best for CEN.Which one will be better option for CEN BI 7.0(not used for Reporting now) or ECC 6.0??
