Physical inventory

dear all,

we are working on split valuation. we are now doing physical inventory. i have create documents through mi31 with plant and stores location. out of that some materials are not include in Phy inv docs. for those materials i check split valuation which is available. also i have check material movements that was also found.

so my question is if every data required to create physical inv doc is ok then system does not create document for these items.

Hi

You need to check you tab "Selection acc.to stock balance" in MI31 screen to find anything is filtered

MI31, When it checks the physical inventory indicator, the system checks for each material whether the last physical inventory took place in the current period or in a previous period. If the last physical inventory has not been carried out in the current period, the system includes the material in the output list.

On the initial screen, you can hide selection criteria (selection by stock and stock type and selection by grouping criteria) via pushbuttons if you do not have to change the standard settings.

From the initial screen, you can create batch input sessions and physical inventory documents directly for the selected materials without having to display the output list.

In the output list, you can select the materials for which you want to create a batch input session or physical inventory documents directly. You can display and process the created batch input sessions from the output list. In an overview list, you can display the physical inventory documents you have created.

In continuous inventory, the Incl. inventoried materials indicator and the Incl. inventoried batches indicator have the following effects in the current fiscal year:

Non-inventoried material

All batches that have been created since the last physical inventory

X _ -> The report includes the following materials:

Non-inventoried material

Inventoried material

All batches that have been created since the last physical inventory

X -> The report includes the following materials:

Non-inventoried material

All batches that were created after the last physical inventory

Batches that have already been inventoried

X X -> The report includes the following materials:

Non-inventoried material

Inventoried material

All batches that were created after the last physical inventory

Are you getting any message in the log when you include your materials for inv document in MB31?

Authorization check

If you want to create batch input sessions with this report, you need authorization to enter physical inventory documents for all required plants (authorization object Physical inventory: Physical inventory document in plant, activity 01).

This authorization check is carried out even if you define with the Create batch input indicator that at first only a control list of the data to be processed is to be issued.
