Auto Disable SAP User ID upon Employee Separation in SAP HCM

Hi,

We have a lot of employees who also have SAP R/3 User IDs for transactions. There is a requirement to link the SAP User ID to the employee data so that whenever an employee is separated from the HR database, the corresponding SAP User ID should also get disabled automatically.

This is important from a data security standpoint since you wouldn't want a resigned employee to have access to system and data.

Does SAP provide any standard integration mechanism or configurations to achieve the above? If not, what is the best suggestion from experts in this group.

Hello Vishal,

When you say SAP ID, do you mean the ESS ID? If yes, just delimit the record IT0105 SUBTY 0001 System ID when executing Resignation Action.
