Hi Experts,
I'm new in PI. I really want to ask very simply question which always make me confuse all the time.
Here is my Scenario, I want to create Inbound interface to Normal SAP ECC6.0 called by Webservice or Normal HTTP.
So there are 2 Business System I need to create, First is Standalone Webservice, second is Normal SAP ECC 6.0.
Now, In process of Import SWCV into IR (in design time), I'm understand that we need to import created SW from SLD.
For Business System of SAP ECC6.0, I created Product ECC 6.0 which contain 7 of S/W components as following:
SAP_ABA
SAP_BASIS
PI_BASIS
ST-PI
SAP_BW
SAP_AP
SAP_APPL
SAP_HR
Which S/W Component I have to import into IR in order to create Outbound interface. Or I can use any S/W Component in This product ECC 6.0 ?
Sorry If my question is not clear, please give me a message, if It not clear.
Thanks in Advance,
Terry_n
Hi ,
i THINK YOU ARE VERY BEGINER IN SAP PI,first try to understand about SLD .you can search in sdn for docs.
When you created product, create software component for the same product, suppose you created new software componenent name SAPSDN,the same you can import in to Integration repository.
dont use SAP predfeined components.
and created one bussiess system for ECC,and no need of creating bussiess system for webservice.

Raj

Thanks for Quick reply... and yes, I'm very very beginer of XI.
That's all I want from your answer, "do not use SAP predefine components".
Also, I don't need to create Business system for Web Service, if so, where can I create Outbound Interface?
Thanks,

Do not import any standard SAP components into Repository!
Create a new SWVC for your development.
