Teradata Macro trigger through SAP Business Object

Hi,

We have requirement to run Teradata macro through SAP BO report . When report refresh it should execute the Teradata macro and display the result of the macro in BO Report.

Please let me know the feasibility to achieve this requirement.

We are using the BO version BO 4.2 SP 02.

Hi Siva,

There is no direct way to achieve your requirement. However there is a work around with a slightly different approach.

Instead triggering the macro from report and the get the report results after the macro ran, Try to trigger your macro from Teradata side.You may need to do as follows.

- Create a webi report based on custom SQL i.e. Teradata macro

- Create a event driven schedule for the report cretaed in Step1

- As on when the user need the report, He need to trigger the Teradata maro which in turn creates a Event file for the report and triggers the schedule and users will receive the report with latest data.
