Hi All
Is there a way we can track usage of SAP Support user which we give to SAP team for some issues. I m not basis consultant but I know we put login details in secure area. However can we track their usage through Tcode-SM20 or some other way?
Regards
Pankaj
Hi Pankaj,
Your understanding is correct. You can use SM20 logs or transactions logs using STAD to identify the actions executed and if you want further drill-down based on the transactions executed then you can analyze the change logs (using CDHDR and CDPOS) or system logs (SM21)
Note: Just ensure that audit logs and change logs are enabled in your SAP system
Do not give SAP_ALL for support Ids instead give required authorizations together with DEBUG access.
With one of the clients, I used to provide Firefighter ID access to SAP support teams for troubleshooting purpose but that approach has it's own drawbacks.

Madhu
