PP order without component backflush

Hello,

We have a production order that has components that are backflush indicated in order to see components reservation in the stock requirement list.

At production order confirmation, we don't want the automatic 261 movement on these components. The inventory would be manually adjusted on a weekly basis based on real consumptions.

If it's bulk we don't see reservation...

My question:

Is it possible to have automatic reservation on components for planned orders and production orders that are closed at production confirmation but not backflushed?

Through IMG?

Hi,

Better you remove back flush indicator from BOM After confirmation of production order You can do MB1A Goods issue for production order as per your actual consumption. on weekly basis.

You can closed reservation only after goods issue either by Back flush or MB1A

Just check out is this sequense of procedure okay for you.

If i'm setting backflush indicator in BOM I'm loosing material reservation in stock req. list.

I need to see material reservation for purchasing...

I would like the reservation to be automatically closed when confirming the order if possible...

Any ideas?

HI,

IF You want the reservations to be dead, you can do teco for the orders.

Reservation would be Dead.

I want the reservation in the system from the beginning (mrp run). When backflushing (Co11n or Co15) I want the reservation on the components to be closed AND no automatic movement 261 on the components.

I tried to put the order TECO prior backflushing and it has no impact on what I want... The component still get backflushed (261).

Any ideas?

Hi,

You will get those reservations after, you convert the PLnd Order to Production ORder and not after MRP Run.

Please remove all possibilities of backflush, in Material Master MRP-2 , Work Center, BOM, Or Order.

Still it getting back-flushed , in OPK4 check for respective Plant -Order Type combination, whether in Goods movement --> check box for All Components is selected. This Check must be De-selected in Your case.

Anyway.. making reservation dead at confirmation is not possible i guess.

After this you shall not see those components in CO11n or CO15.

Hi,

Even if yor keep material back flush as per my knowledge after MRP run you will get procurrement praposal for your back flush material.only problem when you create production order you will not able to see it in reservation.

As per my understanding I think you want to see your component in resevation also & close it at confirmation also.

I do not think both requirement can be possible

Either you go for back flush or just do what I prapose you in my earlier reply.

Wait for others experts response also.
