Transaction ABAVN (asset retirement by scrapping) Short dump

Hi All,

When i try to execute the ABAVN (asset retirement by scrapping) for asset i am getiing the below dump.

Runtime Errors COMPUTE_BCD_OVERFLOW

Exception CX_SY_ARITHMETIC_OVERFLOW

Overflow during the arithmetical operation (type P) in program "SAPLAFAR".

What happened?

Error in the ABAP Application Program

The current ABAP program "SAPLAFAR" had to be terminated because it has

come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.

Any one come across this situation,please give me the solution.
