Default storage location in sales item

Hello,

does someone know whether there is a way to setup a default storage location in SPRO for sales order items.

Means, when entering a material number, is there a way to get a main storage location into field VBAP-LGORT?

This would be better than to code within Z_USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP !!!

Hi,

The storage location is already determined in the order but u have to select that from the list.. why dont make that field mandatory in the incomplete log so that at the time of order processing system will warn you to fill that field by selecting the str location from the list...

you can also try to use the user exit source_determination in MV45AFZB.

If you activate shipping point determination with storage location, System determine the storage location in the sales order it self.

For your plant all storage location maintain the shipping point.

It will work out.

Hi,

thx. for your reply.

I was asked to put the main sloc into sales order item to just get the ATP qty shown for that main (inhouse) sloc.

As we do have a lot of sloc's as technician cars and so on, the users want to see the ATP qty just of that main stock and if the availability doesn't fit they will check MMBE with all sloc's.

What do you think about that procedure?

Not aware of any config though which you can default SLoc at SO level.

But what's the business need for a SLoc at SO Level?
