EVSUM & formatting

In order to get subtotals in a report one can use the EVSUM in combination with "after range" (or before range) in the expansion parameters. My report contains several columns where the EVSUM is calculating the subtotals, however some columns are defined in a currency, others are representing %'s. Within the EVSUM I can define the formatting in currency or % but then the formatting (currency or %) selected after expanding is used for all columns, which is not the desired result.

How can I solve this?
