Info record not updated from PO , PO updated from Info record

Dear Gurus,

I want to restrict Base price in PO will be copied from Valid info record. User does not permitted to change the Base price once info record not maintained.

Kindly tell me the configuration steps to adopt the process ?

I don't want to update infor record from PO also.

I know while making PO i can untick infor record not update, but that is user specific.

Hi

Define functional authorization in OMET (numeric value only). In which tick only display condition do not select enter condition. And tick other required fields

Then assign it to user in SU01 with parameter id EFB.

PO never updates info record. It updates info record price history

Fine , I got the idea for my second question.

But if I want to maintain Info Record first and then the price will be flowed to PO base price which is not updatable by the user.

What are steps to be followed for that/

what are you trying to achieve? maintain the condition in the PIR and get it copied to the PO? Then follow the set instructions fro; Anthony.

If you want the user not maintain the Info Update indicator, then just hide in the screen layout of the document. It does in any case never update the conditions.

Hi

Just do what I have asked you to do, then create PIR, then when you create PO, PIR price will come to PO automatically that cannot be changed by user for whom you have given parameter id EFB in SU01 as per my earlier reply.

Yes I have done as per your guidance . But the problem is that the whole PO condition is in display mode ? Where I can not enter the other condition? I want to resprict the Base Price (P000) only not the other condition types.

Yes , but I am using P000 instead of PB00.

In the tcode M/06 (condition types), for P000 in the detail screen; under the "changes which can be made" subscreen check the "value" checkbox.

go to T-code M/06, select the condition type P000 and click details (or doubleclick) and look in the subscreen "changes can be made", and either check Value (which restricts the value to be changed manually) or in the Manual entries, select the option D.

Thanks . Problem solved.

When info record is maintained the price condition will get from there. for this change in condition type P001 , set "D" in manual entries column.

When info record is not maintained, then the system will try to get the price from last PO, if not present, it will throw an error u201CNet price must be greater than 0u201D and sets price condition PBXX (manual entry) to manually enter the price you want.

What you can do:

Is make the condition type P000 as automatic only (option D as below) and also same for condition type PBXX.
