Supplier TC number & Date is not updating in batch classification

Dear Experts,

Supplier TC Number & Supplier TC Date is not getting updated in Batch Classification. I have made GR, Quality Certificate Receipt has been created in QC51 but still, system has not updated batch classification.

Kindly help me to update the same. Thanks in advance..

Can you define you definition of TC? I have no idea what you are talking about and most other folks probably don't either unless they are in your business or maybe industry.

(I'm editing this now cause I see from your other post that TC is test certificate)

Why would you expect an incoming COA receipt to update batch classification? There is no connection to the best of my knowledge.

Dear FF,

I am Sorry. I have forgot to brief about the development in my system.

My client policy is to provide vendor's Raw material test certificate details to their customers along with product test certificate. Hence, here we have developed, in such a way that whenever raw material GR has been made, vendor TC no.& date will be carried along with the newly created batch details.

If this is a custom development, I doubt if anyone would be able to help you.

I am wondering why you had it as custom. You could have set for batch classification "Classification in foreground for required characteristics" for the incoming movement type. The you have two characterisitcs set as required. TC number and TC date. When the item is received in to your system, a window would pop up requiring them to enter in the values. These would then be on the batch record and available for printing out onto Certs or other forms to your customers.
