Hello ,

I have a problem about activating DSO. I can load data from source system but can not activate data in DSO. I get dump SAPSQL_EMPTY_TABNAME in sm37. Also there are Multiple versions of ChangeLog of that DSO.. There are two tables which have different versions of this DSO . One of them is version 0 and the other one is version 1. Also one of them has data and the other one has no data.

What should I do ? Wıll it be problem if I delete table which has no data ?

best regards,

blue

Execute RSAR_RSTSODS_CHANGELOG_VRS program. It will remove duplicate versions.

Check out OSS Note 1135256 and 974184

I have executed RSAR_RSTSODS_CHANGELOG_VRS , but I thnik it didn't delete duplicate version. After the running there is a log like that :

Change Log with More than One Active Version

Multiple versions of ChangeLog: 80CRM_PROI_JA

PSA: 80CRM_PROI_JA Version: 000 table /BIC/B0000404000 includes data

PSA: 80CRM_PROI_JA Version: 001 table /BIC/B0000404001 is empty

Hello,

Did you set the repair flag the second time you executed the report?:

The purpose of the report RSAR_RSTSODS_CHANGELOG_VRS is to check for

changelog tables that have more then one active version. If you run the

report RSAR_RSTSODS_CHANGELOG_VRS without the flag set for "SET_INA"

then the report in executed in check mode. If the flag for "SET_INA"

is set then the report is executed in repair mode and if there is more

then one active version of the changelog table the incorrect versions

are deleted.

Hello Des,

Yes I have set the SET_INA button before running, after that , I get the same result . Still, I can not activate the date in DSO..

Use the report RSDG_ODSO_ACTIVATE to activate the DataStore object. Note that this results in the creation of a new change log table and that existing data from the inconsistent change log may be lost

I used the report and activated the DSO but the problem still exist..

Please run an RSRV check. Go to All elementary tests --> ODS objects --> Check the Status of the Generated Program of a Data Store Object . Give your DSO name and execute the test.

It will fail indicating that the program doesnt have the current version of the changelog.

Once you repair it, the program will include the most current version of the changelog. try activating the DSO again, it will go thru.

Regards.
