Hi Neeraj Pandey,
Please check if you can access internet from the server where you try to launch the service.
Please also check that the user wich is trying to run the service have access to the internet.
First time you lanche the service, service try to interact with Bex macro and try to obtain macro certificate signature.
If you do not have access to internet, the service fails in timeout because it didn't receive an answer quiqly.
Regards.

Hello,
we've got the same error message after installing PreCalServer09.
I've only found http://support.microsoft.com/kb/839174 , told me to try the newest service pack for Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1, but in vain. After installing .Net Framework 1.1 SP1 or .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 there is still error 1053.
Best regards

Another MS/SAP tip:
Please, follow the instructions below on your Precalculation Server, in
order to fix the issue:
Go to Windows -> Start -> Run -> REGEDIT
Navigate on:
My Computer
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SYSTEM
CurrentControlSet
Control
In "Control" folder, create a new entry (DWORD VALUE) and assign the
name "ServicesPipeTimeout".
Now, double click on "ServicesPipeTimeout", select Base = Decimal and
set the value data to 90000. Close the regedit and reboot the
workstation.
Now try to start the precalculation server. The service should works
now.
