Before taking a new support project what aspect of client systems should be cheked in technical approch? please suggest any document.
Hello Sachin,
Before you take any support project, there should be a thorough study of the customer's landscape and systems configuration by your technical and functional team.
Importantly,
1. Your technical consultant should check the complete landscape, customer's housekeeping activities schedule, maintenance window and procedure, system performacnce.
2. Your functional team should check the current business procedures used by the customer, complete business cycles.
3. YOur development consultant will have to check the modifications made, more importantly the customer developed programs.
for all this you should check for the blue print documentation and the realization document from customer, which they would be having from the time the implementation was done.
Basically you should be aware of what customer had, has and using, so that you should have a projection of the your work in future.
Best Regards
Niraj
