CRM_INTLAY_PUT_DATA FM replcement?

Hi,

I am new to CRM web UI deveopment. Can somebody give me the replcement FM for the 'CRM_INTLAY_PUT_DATA' FM.

My customer is saying the FM 'CRM_INTLAY_PUT_DATA' is obsolete, so i am trying to find the alternate one to use.

Hi,

In GUI , for example the CRMD_ORDER transaction uses this FM in its base maintain API class CL_CRM_1O_MAIN. I'm not exactly sure whether it's obsolete or not. The transaction itself is very solidly built and they cannot possibly go wrong using this FM. They may have considered things that you may have not and they know what they are doing.

For us, it is definitely better to use the maintain function modules as per our requirement. Look deeper in the CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN' function module. It is better to use this FM or one of the sub-functions like CRM_ORDERADM_I_MAINTAIN_OW etc.,
