BI Broadcasting - Null Exception

Hello Friends

Am facing an issue with broadcaster email distribution in production environment. The broadcaster uses recipient determination using "filter by characteristic value" . Even though the master data required is maintained correctly the broadcaster fails at one of the email addresses with message -

Error: java.lang.NullPointerException

Message no. RSBOLAP014

I compared the master data values for a customer address who got the report emailed to. And this looks fine. Any suggestions what else can we look at ? The log does not provide any other message. I checked SOST, SM21 and RSRD_ADMIN transaction logs. Thanks
