Hi,
Idoc is standard SAP format for electronic data interchange between systems.
BDocs are used for data exchange and data processing within a CRM System environment.

Thanks for this, we are also using BDocs for BW extraction so just wondered whether IDOCs are available from a CRM system or the technology replaced by BDOCs and if so why
