SRM 7.0 POWL Removal of TABS

Former Member

Hello All,

We are on SRM 7.0 and one of the business requirements is to remove the TABS "Team Carts" and "Confiormaton for Team Carts" From POWL.

I know a solution in which I can personalize the POWL and then remove the necessary TABS, but I was looking for a way in which we do it at one go for all the users.

Any Help in this regards will be much appreciated.

Thanks and Regards

Pradeep Bhojak.

Hi Pradeep,

There is a another way around, you can control Query visibility at User or Role level.

Path: SPRO --> Cross-Application Componetns --> General Application Functions --> Generic SAP Business Suite Functions --> Personal Object Worklist --> Define Query Visibility at User Level or Define Query Visibility at Role Level

Define Query Visibility at Role Level:

Application ID: SAPSRMGP_E_CHECKSTATUS

Role : /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE

Query ID: SAPSRM_E_CHECKSTATUS_01

Category: SC

Application ID: SAPSRMGP_E_CHECKSTATUS

Role : /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE

Query ID: SAPSRM_E_CHECKSTATUS_02

Category: CONF

Application ID: SAPSRMGP_E_CHECKSTATUS

Role : /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE

Query ID: SAPSRM_E_CHECKSTATUS_03

Category: INV

Path: SPRO --> Cross-Application Componetns --> General Application Functions --> Generic SAP Business Suite Functions --> Personal Object Worklist --> Define Worklist Type Visibility at User Level or Define Worklist Type Visibility at Role Level

Define Worklist Type Visibility at Role Level:

Application ID: SAPSRMGP_E_CHECKSTATUS

Role : /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE

Type: SAPSRM_FEEDER_SC

Application ID: SAPSRMGP_E_CHECKSTATUS

Role : /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE

Type: SAPSRM_FEEDER_CONF

Application ID: SAPSRMGP_E_CHECKSTATUS

Role : /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE

Type: SAPSRM_FEEDER_INV

Once you done this, only Shopping Cart, Confirmation and Invoice / Credit Memo Queries will be availalbe for User in Employee Self-Service. Please let me know, if you find any issues.

Shankar,

Let me know, which scenario you are using Classic or Extended Classic ?

I guess feeder SAPSRM_FEEDER_PO is for extended classic, where we are creating PO locally in SRM and replicate to SAP R/3.

Define Query Visibility at Role Level:

Application ID: SAPSRMGP_E_CHECKSTATUS

Role : /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE

Query ID: SAPSRM_AL_PURCHASING_03_03

Category: SRM_PO

Define Worklist Type Visibility at Role Level:

Application ID: SAPSRMGP_E_CHECKSTATUS

Role : /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE

Type: SAPSRM_FEEDER_PO

Please check and confirm.

Siva

Hi Pradeep,

Please execute report POWL_D01 and enter Application ID and user. It will delete all the queries from database. First try for your ID to verify that changes you have done are correctly displaying on POWL.

POWL saves the configuration in cache memory. This report deletes old lay out of POWL queries and changes will be displayed after that.

Hi Pradeep,

Try to run report POWL_D02 to check if all your settings regarding the tab is activated.

Furthermore check in transaction POWL_QUERYR that you that you numbered the tab correctly.

Hi experts

How add a powl tab of PO display in wizard shopping cart.

Path: SPRO --> Cross-Application Componetns --> General Application Functions --> Generic SAP Business Suite Functions --> Personal Object Worklist --> Define Worklist Type Visibility at User Level or Define Worklist Type Visibility at Role Level

Define Query Visibility at Role Level:

Application ID: SAPSRMGP_E_CHECKSTATUS

Role : /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE

Query ID: SAPSRM_AL_PURCHASING_03_03

Category: SRM_PO

Define Worklist Type Visibility at Role Level:

Application ID: SAPSRMGP_E_CHECKSTATUS

Role : /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE

Type: SAPSRM_FEEDER_PO

This thing already i had done , but tab is not displaying .

Thanks & Regards
