Unable to view web elements in a crystal reports (XI R2)

I have installed Web Elements 2.45 as instructed in the Users guide. I tried using the sample report that is in the library but when I run it in HTML preview mode, I don't see the HTML elements.

hello Hemal Shah,

you will have to publish the reports to your enterprise system and use the infoview viewer to see any pass-through html in an xir2 / xi environment. in xir2 / xi you won't be able to use the html preview in the crystal reports designer to view pass-through html.

in cr2008 you can use the html preview to view most webelements code or any other custom html that you add to a report once you have added that report to your enterprise or cr server environment.

the problem was due to error in web.xml. I fixed the context-param and it works fine. By the way, CR XI R2 does allow pass through HTML.
