Is there any problem defragmenting in windows server 2008 a disk on SAP system.l should the system be down?
I tried to find answer on forums but did not find an answer
you can defrag Os files, but DO NOT attempt on defragmenting database files.
at our company, we store our OS on the C drive and only defrag this drive. We DO NOT touch any other drive.

Hi,
You can use DB specific Reorganization method to do Reorganization over SAP Data (Database).
You can perform normal Windows De-fragmentation method over non-database files.
