REG: Problem with Tool Area IView in Portal

Hi,

In our project, we have to disable Tool Area iview in portal. For that reason we are following the below steps

We copied the SAP provided default framework page and saved under our project folder under "Content Administration". We unchecked the "Visibility" option for Tool Area Iview.

We copied standard theme and after modifying it saved it with our own name

We created our own portal desktop and added the customized framework page and theme.

Changed the desktop & display rules.

It's working fine but whenever we restarted the server, the "Tool Area Iview" is getting enabled automatically.

Any suggestions why it is happening and how can we avoid this??

    Srinivas,

Framework page was copied or delta-linked from the original copy?

    Thanks

    Hi Bala,

We copied our framework page as delta link from Portal Users----> Standard Portal Users ---> Default framework page.

This default framework page is copy&pasted from Content Provided by SAP-- > End User Content -> Default framework Page.
